5 minutes with.... DJ AGA21 February, 21:06
So how did it all begin?
From a young age i always had a passion for music and entertainment . "djing started at the age of 15 when a few friends asked me to dj their birthdays "
Where did the name come from? -
Everyone use to call me AGA which is short for my surname AGIOSKI . .
What's the best event you've played at/put on?
Evropa Superclub 2nd Birthday ( 1600 People @ The Roxy Hotel Parramatta Courtyard )
Out of all the tunes you have, which one 'never fails?' -
Oldies are Always Goodies . . . I like to play for the crowd , unlike other djs who only play what they want . Sweet Dreams House Remix is always great to drop in at the end of the night.
So how is the scene in your eyes at the moment? -
I think music has exploded with the use of internet and technology. Alot of young kids are getting involved and producing fantastic music. The Nightclub scene is never going to be the same as overseas. All the rules and laws will always prevent promoters replicating overseas events in Australia.
Funniest thing that ever happened at an event?
Saying no to a certain promo girl when she use to work at Liverpool Level 4 nightclub. I had my eye on her promo friend at the time . . . Silly me when she became Miss Universe 2 weeks later . ( you know who im talking about )
What advice would you give to up and coming DJs?
Use your head , not your mouth ! Your paid to dj , not paid to tell everyone what you think !
What do you do outside of the dance music scene?
Still in the events industry working as an Senior Sales event manager.
